Ever wanted delicious homemade pie, but not wanting to do the work in the kitchen? Ever craved ice cream with hot fudge? If any of these scenarios sound like you, then Lyn-Way is the place to go.

Lyn-Way is a family owned restaurant in Ashland. Opening in 1951, Lyn-Way has served all types of food to all types of people.

Although they are famous for pie, Lyn-Way also serves appetizers, dinner meals, lunches and breakfast.

I decided to go try different types of deserts Lyn-Way offers and the results were glorious.

I started with their ice cream sundae.  Two scoops of vanilla bean ice cream, smothered in hot fudge and topped with whipped cream and a cherry. Does that not sound amazing??

Taking my first bite, everything was a perfect balance. The fudge, the ice cream, the whipped cream; everything was perfect. When I finished my desert, I made sure to scrape the dish for anything left over; that is how delicious this sundae was. I give the sundae a rating of 9 cherries out of ten.

Having over 12 different flavors of pie, the next dessert decision was very hard, but in the end I ordered their buckeye pie.

As the pie was sitting in front of me, I noticed how big the piece was. With its peanut butter crumbles and homemade crust, it took all of my power to not immediately shove my face into the dish in front of me.

The pie was amazing once I finally took a bite. I loved the way the chocolate and the peanut butter mixed together, forming the perfect blend. Overall, I give the buckeye pie a rating of 10 pies out of 10.

Lyn-Way pies are the way to go if you are looking for something to sink your sweet tooth into. Lyn-Way’s location is 1320 Cleveland Ave, Ashland, OH.
