Homecoming Football Game

At the Homecoming football game the king and queen were announced; The crowning ceremony took place right before the football game. The Alumni were there to witness the crowning as well as Zeke L. to give his crown to the next king.

Ross G. (12) won Homecoming King and Anne F. (12) won Queen. Ross said “The feeling is amazing, surreal. I feel honored to feel this wonderful feeling.”

Ross had many supporters in his process of becoming homecoming king. “My biggest supporter was probably Madison G. (12), and number two was probably Shelby J. (12), and also Diana Muranko and Jacob L. (12).”

Ross said, “Some life advice would be to be yourself, and apparently you can become Homecoming King or a leader of some type. Just go with the flow.”

Anne, the Homecoming Queen, said, “My biggest supporter was Katy F. (12). We were both nominated and from then on, we were both kind of in it to win it.” Anne feels honored to be voted Queen by her peers. She said, “some life advice would be to always leave about five minutes in the morning to poop.”

The Arrows won against Madison with a score of 56-13. During the first quarter, the Arrows scored one touchdown, ending the quarter with a one-point lead. The first touchdown was a one-yard run by Keagan A. (12). The touchdown was followed by a field goal made by Carson H. (10).

The Arrows then widened their lead in the second quarter. Kamrin G. (12) caught a 19-yard pass from Keagan resulting in another touchdown followed by another kick made by Carson. The Arrows had a 28-13 lead at halftime.

During the second half of the game, the Arrows pulled away getting three touchdowns in the third quarter. There was a 19-yard run made by Owen R. (11), and Mitchell H. (10) caught a pass from Keagan for a touchdown.

Finishing the game with a score of 56 to 13, the fourth quarter consisted of a touchdown made by Mason K. (10) with a 65-yard run.
