Avengers: Infinity War review

Sarah Y., Editor-in-Chief

On Friday, April 27, Marvel released its highly anticipated film Avengers: Infinity War. The film made $300 million in the domestic box office and $800 million in the international box office according https://www.forbes.com. For its second weekend in theaters, the movie is anticipated to make $100 million or more in the box office. This film broke many records set by Black Panther, Jurassic World and Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

The film broke the presale record previous held by Black Panther, bypassing the previous seven Marvel movies in presale tickets. Infinity War also broke the record for highest grossing Saturday and Sunday, beating the previous title holders Jurassic World and Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Infinity War is a movie that is unlike any Marvel movie they have ever made. It is daring, intense and complex. It is something that has not been done before in the Marvel cinematic universe.

Infinity War was not my favorite Marvel movie; however, it is in my list of top three best Marvel movies. It is second only to Black Panther.

I would like the movie more once I have had time to fully process what happened in the ending. Even though I had prepared for the worst scenario, I still was not ready for the movie. So, if you plan to go to the movie, prepare yourself.
