Numerous Charities to Donate to this Holiday Season

Tate W., Editor

In light of Christmas being right on the horizon, it is never a bad idea to gift to others who are in need. That is why we are here to compile a short list of different charities you can donate to this holiday season.

  1. The Ashland County Christmas Program

The Ashland County Christmas Program is a gift giving program ran through Associated Charities. The program allows the contributor to adopt a family, and from there they supply Christmas presents for that family. The program even allows you to adopt your family of choice and matches you to your closest preferred family.

2. Winter Coats for Kids Program

The Winter Coats for Kids program is another Ashland County Program run through Associated Charities. Any new or slightly worn coats will be accepted to the associated charities agency at 240 Cleveland Ave, Ashland, Ohio.

3.     United Way Program

Sending donations to the Ashland County United Way is always a great way of giving back to the community. If you visit https://uwashlandoh.org/donate/ you can donate up to $500 or even sponsor a child in need for an entire years supply of books from the Dolly Parton Imagination Library. All proceeds go toward bettering the Ashland County community. Call 419-281-5551 to reach Ashland County United Way services for more information.
