When everything shut down many industries were affected, one of those being the movie industry. Since the shutdown there have been very few movies that have come out. “Godzilla vs. Kong” is one of the newest movies to come out that is partially live action.

Although it is one of the only movies that has come out recently does not make it automatically a good movie. “Godzilla vs. Kong” is a very underwhelming movie for the amount of hype around it. The plot was very boring and at some points confusing. The action was amazing but could not make up for the lackluster story.

The action and CGI were as good as I hoped; it seemed like that was the only reason why the movie came out was to make money from the cool CGI without a redeeming story. The ending especially was very disappointing and made me, along with other people who watched the movie, very disappointed.

Overall I think “Godzilla vs. Kong” is not worth your money or your time. It is a very boring and underwhelming movie. The action between Kong and Godzilla is the only redeeming part but it’s not enough to make the movie worth the watch. The underwhelming plot was probably as a result of the studio trying to squeeze as much money out of it as possible rather than make a quality movie.
